Commonwealth Stacks Conversation Editions was born on January 1st 2000, when Michael Leon began making limited edition t-shirts and prints in numbered editions. The t-shirts were sold in a few boutiques in New York and Los Angeles, but mostly given away to friends. Today, Michael and Laura Leon produce a line of clothing and accessories, as well as collaborating on special projects with likeminded artists and designers.

Michael Leon is probably most well know for his association with Girl Skateboards, Chocolate Skateboards, Fourstar Skateboards and Crailtrap.
