Partners Joshy D. and Mike Giant met in the late 90's in San Francisco's then bustling graffiti scene. Josh ran a popular graffiti website, and Mike Giant was one of the city's most notorious writers. Years later, and having had some experience with a previous clothing venture, Josh approached Mike about creating a handful of hand illustrated t-shirt graphics, and REBEL8 was born.
The days of Mike Giant graffiti are now numbered but Mike as gained as much notoriety for his tattooing skills where his freehand skills shine and in turn you can see many of the tattoo designs on Rebel8 t-shirts.
