In 1986 Shut Skateboards was formed from the "Soul Artist of Zoo York" but by 1991 Shut Skateboards closed it doors to start a newer, bigger and more exciting venture and Zoo York was born but it took until 1993 until the official launch of Zoo York. Zoo York's continually growing family includes original NYC graffiti artists and talent from the new and old school on skateboards, as well as BMX, motorcross and board sports. Zoo York clothing has a strong graffiti, skateboarding history but today here in the UK it's entered the crossover market and is worn by hip hop heads to urban dudes on Sturban Clothing you'll find jeans, t-shirts, hoods and sweats that exemplify Zoo York street art and urban fashion scene.
