Zoo York has long history in the skateboard and clothing market, starting back in the 70's under the banner of "Soul Artists of Zoo York" it was then a bunch of graffiti artists just exploring possibilities and having fun. In 1986 Shut Skateboards was formed from the "Soul Artist of Zoo York" but by 1991 Shut Skateboards closed it doors to start a newer, bigger and more exciting venture and Zoo York was born but it took until 1993 until the official launch of Zoo York. Zoo York's continually growing family includes original NYC graffiti artists and talent from the new and old school on skateboards, as well as BMX, motorcross and board sports.

Zoo York clothing has a strong graffiti, skateboarding history but today here in the UK it's entered the crossover market and is worn by hip hop heads to urban dudes on Sturban Clothing you'll find jeans, t-shirts, hoods and sweats that exemplify Zoo York street art and urban fashion scene.
